Welcome to ACTS

ACTS is a community of individuals and groups who share a common desire to do something to help others. We want to be a tool to motivate people to have a fresh look at how they treat their neighbour. With the hope that this will create a ripple effect to influence the wider society.

We want to offer new and innovative ways of doing this, such as skills donors where you can give up some of your time to help charities or community groups using some of the skills you have. We will be offering you a space to develop new ideas or start start new projects like that could be a local shopping club or building a water well in Africa, or community Acts of Kindness which will give you opportunities to get involved in or start a regular afternoon of volunteering to help your local community.

We want to create a social networking site with a difference, we want to empower you to make a difference, but to have fun, and meet new friends along the way.
